Pair of large wall sconces
SOLD
This large pair of sconces was designed by Bruno Chiarini for his own manufacturer Chiarini Milano.
They have a neoclassical style that is highly decorative and could be perfectly placed in an enteryway. They are very well crafted. The sconces are labeled and have a good-looking patina on the brass structure. They are sold with their original parchment shades, but could be used also without.
Chiarini was an important lighting company in the 1950s, with a production competing with others such as Lumen, Stilnovo, Arredoluce.
Italy, late 1950s. Preowned.
Materials:
Solid brass and parchment. One out of two sconces still retains the original "BC" label.
Could be used also without shades.
