Set of 5 enameled bowls by Valentini & Terenzi for Ceramica Arcore, 1970s

This splendid set with important dimensions includes 5 stoneware bowls by Nanni Valentini and Marco Terenzi, produced by their manufacture Ceramica Arcore in the 1970s.

They are distinguished by the fineness of the workmanship of the pieces, which are very thin, and by the splendid glazing that combines shades of green and brown, alternating shiny and opaque surfaces, the refinement of which shows the participation of Nanni Valentini, an exceptional artist and ceramist, in the work.
In the two larger bowls there are large glaze drippings on the outer rim, making the pieces even more sculptural.

The largest bowl, a true centerpiece, measures an impressive 45 centimeters in diameter and 9,5 centimeters in height.
The other large bowl measures 12,8 centimeters in height and 26,5 in diameter.
The small ones measure 14.5 and 13 centimeters in diameter.
They are all signed “CA” and remain in excellent vintage condition. For accuracy there is a small chipping on the rim of the smaller bowl, the one with terracotta finish. Otherwise the set is in perfect condition.
