“Filiberto” bar cart for Adrasteia
Virginia Galimberti Scoccimarro & Adrasteia
This bar cart was designed by architect Virginia Galimberti Scoccimarro in the late 1950s and it was manufactured by Adrasteia.
Adrasteia was a manufacturer active in Brianza, in the north of Milan, between mid 1950s and mid 1960s, a direct competitor of Azucena, with a range of designes that also worked on technical innovation with a strong reference to a traditional elegance.
Virginia was the wife and business associate of architect Antonio Scoccimarro. They designed several pieces for Adrasteia, as well as many buildings in Milan.
