Paolo Lomazzi
Jonathan De Pas, Donato D’Urbino, and Paolo Lomazzi formed their studio in Milan in the mid-1960s and became key voices in Italian radical design. Their work ranged from experimental seating to industrial products, often balancing humor with structural clarity. Among their best-known projects are the inflatable “Blow” chair (Zanotta, 1967) and the “Joe” armchair (Poltronova, 1970), pieces that bridged pop sensibility and rigorous design thinking.
