Italian architect and industrial designer educated and based in Milan. Opening his studio in the mid-1950s, Asti worked across lighting, furniture and glass, collaborating with leading manufacturers including Candle and others at the forefront of postwar Italian design. His work is noted for lucid geometries, careful detailing and user-oriented functionality, and received recognition within the Compasso d’Oro award program.
