“Sommerso a bollicine” bowl mod. 4117 for Venini

Bowl by the Italian Master Carlo Scarpa, signed and published. Designed in 1936 for Venini. A large piece, compared to many others designed for Venini.
Features gold foil inclusions. This piece, model 4117, was originally part of the "Corrosi" series, but is here in a "Sommerso" variation. It was also displayed at the XXVI Biennale in 1952 and it's a  It's definitely a rare piece.

Provenance: private collection, Brescia.

Both signed under the base.
