Rare and important lamp by design lighting master Gino Sarfatti, produced by Arteluce in 1948. A rare example of the manufacture's early production, with a clear rationalist style.

This lamp, cataloged as model 522, features a diffuser with two striped molded glass cups, and a top with a brass handle varnished in black and switch. The base consists of two brushed brass plates, locked with two-hole steel screws. On the base, just below the lower cup, is the Arteluce label.

The lamp is in very good vintage condition, with patina and oxidation on the base, slight signs of use to the paint, and a few spots lacking satin finish on the glass shade. The glass shades are intact. The electrical system is original. The lamp has 3 E16 lamp holders.
