Pair of Safari demountable armchairs for Zanotta
This pair of armchairs is part of the research concducted by different architect and designers on the classic colonial "Safari" armchair for the furniture maker Zanotta. These armchairs were designed by Roberto Menghi, a milanese designer and architect that had also won the Compasso d'Oro Award with his "Guscio" living unit for Zanotta in 1968. Other reknown pieces by Menghi are the Libra-Lux lamp and the collection of armchairs and sofa for Arflex.
These safari chairs are completely demountable, have been newly upholstered in canvas and are signed Zanotta on the wooden frame, that also has a stunning patina.
In order to keep the shipping costs low, the armchairs will be as much demounted as possible.
