4 “Otto” armchairs for Ibis, 1981
Very rare set of chairs by the designers Werther Toffoloni and Piero Palange, manufactured by Ibis. This model was shortlisted for Compasso d'Oro competition in 1981. They are made of solid bent steamed beech, except from the seat that is made of beech plywood, and they have a striking apperance due to thei organic shape that is equally beautiful from different points of view. Also, the details are impressive, as the result of a very clever assembly system that allow these chairs to be demounted easily, thanks to a metal screw under the seat.
